The world's largest steakhouse chain just got bigger with its first Taichung branch, directly opposite the Taichung Police Bureau headquarters. With about 800 outlets globally, the Tampa, Florida-based Outback is well-known for its Aussie-themed ambiance and cuisine, which includes a big menu of appetizers, salads, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, desserts and drinks. Many of these come with creative names, like the signature Chocolate Thunder from Down Under (NT$280), a decadent made-from-scratch tower of brownie, whipped cream, ice cream and chocolate sauce.
